Public Service Agency is the major department in big metropolitan cities like New York as the population living in these regions is always high. Hence, there are a lot of agencies created to help the people of the city and have the city at peace. My objective is to gain insights into the utilization and performance of various agencies, also in different boroughs of the city. To achieve this, I have collected data from August 2022 up to the present.
Given the vast size of New York City and its numerous agencies, my inquiry into the data was focused on identifying the agencies with the highest workload of complaints. From there, I delved further into the specifics, such as the current status of registered complaints, the month in which the complaints were registered, or which boroughs are most heavily utilizing certain agencies.
This study could be useful for policymakers and practitioners who are interested in improving agency utilization and addressing any disparities.
